The WGL Energy Services (WGL Energy) affinity marketing program is a terrific opportunity for organizations, typically non-profits, who may be looking to raise money while providing their members with access to electricity, natural gas and renewable energy options at some of our lowest prices.

WGL Energy typically partners with non-profit organizations that share our commitment to serving others, and where their members find value in our traditional and renewable energy offerings. We also enjoy successful partnerships with voluntary trade associations who are committed to enhancing the quality of life of the communities they serve.

As a leading energy supplier in the Mid-Atlantic and a marquis brand, our participation can help strengthen a member benefits program. Members can purchase electricity, natural gas and renewable energy options at some of our lowest prices.

The structure of the affinity marketing program can vary, depending on the needs of the affinity partner. For those programs that have been set up to raise money, we contribute up to $50 for each purchase of natural gas or electricity made by its members. While it’s ultimately up to the affinity partner to determine how the contributions are used, they’re generally invested back into the organization in way that provides a direct benefit to the people they serve – through capital improvements like new dance floors, sound equipment, team uniforms or sporting equipment.

WGL Energy is always looking for ways to improve its programs, so that they’re serving the needs of our affinity partners. An important milestone for us and our partners includes frequent check-ins by our business development team, where we meet with our partners to assess the progress of the program and make any adjustments that might be necessary.
